Delaware smells the impact of New Jersey oil spill

The Garden State has left anything but a sweet aroma for Delaware residents as a February 23, 2012 oil spill has led the Diamond State to complain about the odor, WDEL 1150AM reports.

New Jersey-based Paulsboro Refining Company workers spilled 157,000 oil barrels, causing 6.6 million gallons to seep into a nearby containment area. Oil began leaking after employees moved containers to various areas of the facility. Workers have conducted ongoing air monitoring around the facility, and WDEL 1150AM notes officials said there have been no health effects from the incident.
