Hello, Arkansas!

The 42nd president of the United States hailed from Arkansas. So did Maya Angelou, the multi-award winning poet, author, actress and singer who read her poem, “On the Pulse of Morning,” at Clinton’s inauguration in 1993. Numerous other well-known personalities originated from Arkansas, including entertainers Johnny Cash and Glen Campbell, actor Mary Steenburgen, and author John Grisham, to name a few.

Clearly, Arkansas has given many great folks a great start.

So we think it’s only fitting that Impact Absorbents is opening our new manufacturing and distribution facility in Benton, Arkansas.

In addition to our longtime West coast headquarters, the new Benton facility will significantly increase our production capacity — as well as vastly improve our overall ability to support our Southern, Midwest, and Atlantic partners most efficiently and cost effectively.

“Expanding our manufacturing and distribution capabilities to a more centralized location has been a long-time goal for us. We’re excited to be part of and contribute to the Benton and Little Rock community,” said Misha Woodard, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “As a family-run business for thirty years, we’re grateful for our continued growth and look forward to building new partnerships.”

A leader in the spill containment and spill clean up industry, Impact Absorbents is a manufacturer of spill and safety solutions, including numerous ECOLOGO Certified absorbents, such as absorbent pads, socks, oil booms, absorbent rolls, and pillows. Other products include grease containment systems, paint absorbent and hardener, acid and caustic neutralizing absorbent, and spill kits for oil, hazardous liquids and biohazards.

Hello, Arkansas. We know this a terrific place to be from, and in which to thrive. We’re excited to be part of it.
