On the Road Again

In spring, a young man’s fancy turns tosoccer, baseball, Frisbee, and, if he drives for a living, keeping his rig in good working order. (These days, of course, trucking is a gender-neutral job. We just wanted to quote the iconic Tennyson adage…)

While it’s great to finally be free of the snow and ice that blanketed much of the country for much of the winter, spring driving still means runoff and in some areas, mudslides.

Whether you’re truckin’ through Arizona or Alaska (or anywhere in between), one excellent spill containment item to keep on board is a Spill Berm. Impact Absorbents portable spill berms stow snugly behind the truck seat or in the cab of most equipment, readily available to catch those unexpected leaks and spills.

And did you know? Our berms can be pre-fitted with a disposable absorbent pad for fast and easy clean up. After the pad is used, you can dispose of it according to local regulations and replace it with a new pad. Just wipe the berm dry, refold, and stow it away for future use.

So now that you’ve got spill containment handled for those long haul trips, what about vacation travel? You don’t want to be behind the wheel, that’s for sure. But this won’t be a problem, because your significant other has already made plans that involve a very different kind of berm: Bermuda.
