Clay (Kitty Litter)
One 2 cu. ft. bag of XSORBwill absorb more than five (30 lb.) bags of Clay.
Delayed absorption time of 15 to 30 minutes means clay is left to soak up the spill, often becoming a hazard to workers, drains and machinery.
May cause cancer and silicosis.
May leave a slick residue behind.
Clay bags can weigh up to 50 lb., causing difficulty in lifting and increasing potential for injury.
Diatomaceous Earth (D.E.)
One 2 cu. ft. bag of XSORBwill absorb more than 4-5 (35 lb.) bags of D.E.
Declared toxic by the N.W.F.F. *
May cause cancer and silicosis.
Not for use with organic products.
