A fuel tank in Lorain, Ohio, leaked approximately 250 to 300 gallons of oil at a mobile home park, reports The Morning Journal.
The oil came from a heating tank that was on site and had rusted through. The bottom of the tank began to leak the oil, which flowed into the surrounding environment.
The leak was discovered by a local resident who notified the proper authorities. After the fire department arrived at the scene and stabilized the situation, they turned the cleanup process over to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, reports the news source.
