Pillow Fight! When to Swap Feathers for Fiber Glass

School’s back in session, and that means kids will want to have sleep-over parties. And sleep-overs mean pillow fights. But there’s a word of difference between the pillows children will fling at one another in the rec room (more accurately spelled “wreck room”) and the pillows that will absorb the greasy mess the adults might make barbecuing hot dogs and chicken for this gathering.

In the first case, feathers are the appropriate filling. But when it comes to absorbents, you’ll want FiberLink Universal Pillows, FiberDuck Oil Absorbent pillows, or XSORB Universal pillows, each of which rapidly soaks up spills or leaks and blocks running liquids from sensitive areas such as drains or walkways. This is especially important if the party is taking place on school grounds, though we suspect parents are equally grateful for spill clean up effectiveness on their property.

While we’re on the subject of kids and parties, both schools and households may wish to keep a canister (or case) of Biofresh Super Absorbent with Disinfectant handy. If the kids get carried away with pillow play after eating, Biofresh could be very useful. It quickly vanquishes biohazard spills such as vomit while treating the spill with a powerful disinfecting agent.

Safe to use, Biofresh is specially engineered to instantly contain, absorb, and help disinfect liquids on contact, turning contaminated liquid waste into solid waste for fast and easy disposal while leaving the surface clean and dry. Music to a teacher’s, school administrator’s or parent’s ears, and much easier to listen to than that music the children are playing at peak volume.

So while kids haven’t changed much over the decades, thankfully spill clean up has, with Impact Absorbents the global leader in spill containment and safety since 1992. You’ve got your hands full, raising the next generation. We’re honored to be of service.
